Easter 2014

This Easter was an interesting one. We have 11 O' Clock church, so we had to decide, if we wanted to have our Easter Egg Hunt before church and struggle to get ready and possibly be late or wait until after and chance on the kids being grumpy, because of nap time. Well we chose after, after all, how could they be grumpy during an Easter Egg Hunt?!

Well what we didn't consider is the wait for the Easter Bunny to hide the eggs after church.

I had the idea to do a photo shoot during the wait to try and distract the kids, Grandma A wanted some pictures to print out anyways!

I was going to only pick out the cute ones, but really this tells the story of how it all happened:

I call the kids to the front yard to take pictures, "So the Easter Bunny won't get scared away in the backyard!"

Michael came, Elizabeth didn't have a choice, and Tim was still trying to peek out the back window to see the Bunny.

Both were soooo tired.

Michael really didn't like the sun in his eyes.

So we moved to the bench swing in the shade and all was well.

Tim finally came out front and is clearly still distracted by the thought of an Easter Bunny in our backyard.

This is our favorite picture! Really shows off the day!

Now the kids are really losing patience with the wait.

I gave up in the end on trying on getting a nicely posed picture, so I just let them play while we were still waiting.

And I finally got a good picture of Tim.

Then Jon stole the Camera:

Kyle finally came and delivered the ok to go.

In the end it turned into a great day!!!
